In 1891, David and Elizabeth Williams were living at 32 Shingrig Road, Nelson.

We regret to record the death on Saturday last , 19th October, 1918, of Benjamin Williams, son of Mr and Mrs David Williams, 42, Commercial Street, Nelson. The deceased who had been ill for a considerable period, served in the forces, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, for a short while after the outbreak of war, but was discharged through ill health.
