Private Tom Edwards (Twm Butch) of the Welsh Regiment, lives in Ashgrove Terrace has been severely wounded and is now in hospital in Boulogne.

Official news has been received from the War Office that Private Thomas Edwards 11497, 2^nd Welsh Regt was killed in action on May 24^th. The deceased had been previously wounded and had spent some time in hospital at Boulogne, but returned to duty a few months ago. Private Edwards resided at Ashgrove Terrace, Nelson.
